Leaf Blower Co. launches next week

Players pile up leaves and pile up cash in Leaf Blower Co., a leaf-blowing simulator that will be released for PC in one week. The relaxing outdoor cleaning simulation is inspired by other relaxing job simulation games. (I see a lot of PowerWash Simulator in it, but then again, I’ve put 30 hours into PowerWash Simulator 2 recently.) It is set in a quiet New England town, and players are just beginning their own business. Story Mode includes a variety of locales, each with easter eggs and optional objectives.

But it turns out, it’s not only about leaves. Players will also solve any problem that the leaf blower can blow away, from boxes to coconuts. The game takes place in the autumn and includes a variety of weather: sunny days, rainy days, foggy days, and even snowy days! As players progress, they unlock new locations, tools, and skills. The tools are customizable using skins. There are side jobs with adaptable weather, timing, and location.

Developed by LifT Games and published by Forklift Interactive, Leaf Blower Co. will be released for PC via Steam on November 17.

Lindsay picked up an NES controller for the first time at the age of 6 and instantly fell in love. She began reviewing GBA games 20 years ago and quickly branched out from her Nintendo comfort zone. She has has developed a great love of life sims and FMV titles. For her, accessibility is one of the most important parts of any game (but she also really appreciates good UI).
