Eastasiasoft is publishing Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Generation for Nintendo Switch in Asia
It was only a matter of time until eastasiasoft announced that it would publish Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Generation for Nintendo Switch in Asia, as the company has already announced the same happy fate for Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth and Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2 Sisters Generation. This release includes English and Traditional Chinese text with voiceovers in English and Japanese. Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Generation is a remake of the trilogy’s final title and features prior DLC and extras. In the game, Neptune has been transported to an ’80s-inspired alternate version of Gamindustry, where she has to save that dimension and her own.
Physical editions are available to pre-order at Playasia now. 2000 Limited Editions will be made, each including the game, a manual, a soundtrack CD, an art book, Joy-Con stickers, a mini case, acrylic standees, and a numbered certificate, all in a collector’s box. A Standard Edition is also available and will be stocked at select Asian retail partners.
Developed by Idea Factory/Compile Heart and published by Eastasiasoft, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Generation will be released in Asia for Nintendo Switch this (Northern) fall.
Draw music in Beat Brush
Beat Brush, created by a solo developer, is a cozy game where players draw music. Every brushstroke creates sound, but don’t mistake it for a rhythm game; it’s more like musical improvisation, artistic expression, and art therapy rolled into one. And no musical or drawing skills are needed! The game tells the story of a girl who had it all, until she burned out. Now, on the verge of death, she revisits her life through a gallery of living paintings.
Per a press release, Beat Brush features:
- A one-of-a-kind mechanic: draw music in real time
- 40 handcrafted levels, each with its own genre and art style — from pixel scenes to Ghibli-like dreamscapes
- Instruments to paint with: pianos, theremins, lo-fi pads, and more
- Gentle arcade and puzzle moments that guide, not challenge
- A quiet narrative about burnout, ambition, and healing
Developed and published by Kesha Games, Beat Brush will be released for PC via Steam in 2026.
Little Corners announced for PC
Decorate your sticker book to your heart’s content in sticker book decorating sim Little Corners, announced last week. In the game, players peel and place stickers or furniture, trinkets, and animals, adjusting everything until it’s just right. The game includes ten dioramas of scenes like an alchemist’s mystical medieval tower and a cozy winter cabin. Each setting has themed stickers, and super secret stickers can be unlocked simply through creativity and play. There are no time pressures and no right way to do things: just peel, stick, and chill.
Per a press release, the key features of Little Corners include:
- So Many Stickers: Place a library of more than 2,000 stickers, with unique themes for each diorama and special unlockable stickers to collect.
- Drag and Drop: Super satisfying mechanics make placing stickers a joy, while layering also offers additional opportunities for creativity.
- Lofi Beats to Stick to: An original lofi soundtrack sets the tone for the decorating gameplay.
Developed by Meteor Pixel and co-published with Secret Sauce, Little Corners will be released for PC via Steam later this year. A demo is available now.
Word Game launched in Hong Kong and Japan for Nintendo Switch
I’m not talking about a vague word game: rather, the description and the title of this game are Word Game. Words don’t only compose narratives and interfaces; they also represent objects, characters, and scenes. Players control “I” to complete puzzles comprised of words.
In the game, players control “I”. “I” needs to find clues between the lines, deleting words to change a sentence’s meaning or shifting them to rewrite facts. For example, in a room that states “there is no door,” but the word door is there so “I” can walk through it.
Developed by Team9 and published by Flyhigh Works, Word Game is available in Hong Kong and Japan for Nintendo Switch. It includes language options for Traditional Chinese and Japanese.
