Idea Factory International announced a while ago that it is publishing the Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth trilogy in the West for PlayStation this year. Today, Eastasiasoft announced that it will publish the first game, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1, in Asia for Nintendo Switch. It will launch this summer (Northern Hemisphere) with English and Traditional Chinese language options. Because IFI cannot publish the game for Nintendo Switch in the West, this will be the only way to get it for the platform. It will be available digitally and physically.
Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 is a cleverly-titled remake of the series’ first game, including all prior extras. The JRPG features 3D combat, dungeon exploration, crafting, and unique systems. Play as Neptune and three other CPU goddesses after their battle for supremacy of their world, Gamindustri, in the War of the Guardians. Neptune was defeated and banished from the heavens, losing her memories in the process. A mysterious book known as Histoire (French for history) reveals itself to the fallen goddess; it contains knowledge about Gamindustri’s history. Neptune and Histoire, joined by Compa and IF, head out on a quest to save the world that takes them across four lands.

You can play as up to three characters on the field, with three more as support. Customize the game’s enemy difficulty, dungeon treasure, and more using Plans. Craft gear with one or more abilities.
The game will be available digitally through Nintendo’s eShop and physically. Physical Standard copies will be available through select retailers in Asia and online through Playasia. Physical Limited Editions will be available through Playasia. Only 2,000 Limited Editions (above) will be produced; each includes a physical copy of the game, a manual, a soundtrack CD, an art book, Joy-Con stickers, a mini case, acrylic standees, a numbered certificate, and a collector’s box. Limited Edition pre-orders begin Thursday, May 1st at 11:00 pm Hong Kong time.
