I’ve become weary of Early Access games, and I know I’m not the only one. There have been a lot of… not great… games released in Early Access that don’t actually improve over time, but I am hopeful that Cozy Caravan will fit not into that category. The developer has been very open about taking in player feedback, even two months ago when the game was first announced. The wholesome adventure game now has a date set for its Early Access launch – and it’s only two weeks away!
Cozy Caravan is a single-player, top-down adventure. The arts of crafting, trading, and exploration come together in a beautiful cozy world. It all starts when you create your own cute animal persona before hitting the road in your caravan alongside your best buddy Bubba. In each town you visit, set up a market and trade with the locals. A rich tapestry of of characters with their own stories and quests deepen the sense of connection.
Small towns have a special type of charm and you’ll experience it every step of the way. While gathering resources and stocking up the caravan, you can also give the locals a hand. Once travelling again, keep your eyes peeled for people who may need a ride. All work and no play is no fun, even for cute animal personas, so take a break to talk to townsfolk and join in on some fun activities.
With the Early Access version of Cozy Caravan, players can explore the Farmland region, meeting characters, taking on quests, and participating in activities. This is the area that introduces players to the core mechanics of the game and sends them off on the first leg of the journey ahead. The developer hopes to open up a second region later in the Early Access period. The full launch will include at least these two regions; more are still in an early planning phase and would likely come post-launch.

We have plans to add a lot more to Cozy Caravan, with new regions, characters, and quests all coming over the next several months. We can’t wait to see what you all think of this premiere build of Cozy Caravan!”
Developed and published by 5 Lives Studios, Cozy Caravan will be released in Early Access for PC via Steam on May 16.
