The key art for Pritto Prisoner.

Originally revealed during a Japanese Nintendo Direct earlier this year, the asymmetrical escape-action game Pritto Prisoner is now set to launch for PC and Nintendo Switch in two weeks. When I say “potty” party escape game, I mean it: bodily functions are your ultimate tools for victory! Who doesn’t need to relax with some laughter after big holiday events?

Pritto Prisoner is a 4v2 party game. Choose between relentless robot guards and mischievous animal inmates trying to break free from an island prison. But to escape requires more than stealth, speed, and teamwork… it also needs their pee and poop! (Yes, this game is ridiculous, and I’m obsessed.) It brings charming characters into chaotic situations.

Here are the game’s key features, via Pincool:

  • Chaotic Tag-Based Multiplayer: Outwit robot guards or stop the animal inmates before they excrete their way to freedom in this 4v2 party showdown.
  • Pick Up & Play: Simple, “hide-and-seek” style mechanics make it easy for players of all ages to jump in.
  • Irresistible Characters: From musically inclined zebras to bumbling robots, every character comes alive with personality through Kanahei’s signature art style.
  • Absurdly Fun Powers: Utilize pee-powered cannons, poop-fueled turbo boosts, and over-the-top gimmicks that bring endless laughs.

Developed by Pincool and published by Initiate Games, Pritto Prisoner will be released for PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch on December 25.

Lindsay picked up an NES controller for the first time at the age of 6 and instantly fell in love. She began reviewing GBA games 20 years ago and quickly branched out from her Nintendo comfort zone. She has has developed a great love of life sims and FMV titles. For her, accessibility is one of the most important parts of any game (but she also really appreciates good UI).
