Danganronpa’s PC release date set (and it’s soon!)

I come bearing some brief – yet wonderful – news: Danganronpa has a firm release date for its PC version. Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc will be available on Steam February 18. Spike Chunsoft has also given us a glimpse at the trading cards and badges for the game:

As someone who doesn’t own a Vita but is dying to play Danganronpa, February 18 seems like an impossible time to wait. It’s (only) almost three weeks away, but that seems like a lifetime after waiting years to meet Monokuma. The good news is that Digitally Downloaded is a treasure trove of Danganronpa information, so I have compiled some of the best reading to keep you busy.

I recommend beginning at, well, the beginning – with Matt’s review of Trigger Happy Havoc for PlayStation Vita. Then move on to his review of the second game, Goodbye Despair. The series then went a bit rogue with a shooter, Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls. If reviews aren’t enough, delve deeper into the series with a more philosophical piece on Monokuma’s role as villain (or is it hero?). And there is always the announcement of the upcoming Danganronpa anime. Finally, bringing us full circle, is the announcement that Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc is coming to PC.
