Two new trailers for Pokémon Legends: Z-A trailers have been revealed
Last week, Game Freak released two new videos for Pokémon Legends: Z-A. They feature introductions to Rogue Mega Evolution, Mega Evolved Pokémon, and a new battle mode named the Z-A Royale.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A returns players to Lumiose City, which is the biggest city in the Kalos region. It is undergoing a high-tech urban redevelopment plan, making it a place truly shared by people and Pokémon. Choose Chikorita, Tepig, or Totodile as your first partner, then meet a new friend/ally (Urbane or Tawny). Wild Zones in the city offer wild Pokémon habitats; these zones are where you can catch new Pokémon. Mega Evolutions unlock a new level of power, causing Pokémon to change more than just their shape.
Developed by Game Freak and published by The Pokémon Company, Pokémon Legends: Z-A will be released for Switch 2 and Switch on October 16.
A hit South Korean webtoon is becoming a video game
The internet-breaking webtoon The Player Who Can’t Level Up is becoming a fast-paced action roguelite for PC and consoles. The game features high-intensity action, stunning visuals, and a fresh take on progression. A brand-new storyline has been created in collaboration with the original web novel/webtoon team. It follows Kim Kigyu, who is destined to fight the world’s threats… but he can’t level up. Instead, players will master combat styles, uncover secrets, and evolve using roguelite mechanics.
How does the game feature a fresh take on progression? Here’s the answer, from a press release:
Instead of conventional XP and grinding, The Player Who Can’t Level Up introduces Ego Shards (perk-style abilities) and Blessings (random enhancements) that let you build devastating synergies run after run. With roguelite progression, dynamic combat mechanics, and the visual firepower of Unreal Engine 5, players are in for a fast-paced, high-skill action experience — with zero loading screens and full camera control.
Developed and published by Tripearl Games, The Player Who Can’t Level Up will be released for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
Tekken is making an appearance in collaboration with Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land
Free Tekken content is now available for the alchemy JRPG Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land. It allows players to take down their opponents with Tekken flair. The collaboration items can be downloaded for free and include a costume inspired by Reina from the Tekken series, an accessory, and two finishing moves for Yumia to take down fierce enemies.
An update to the game includes the new Fantasy Academy Costume Set for all characters. The Art of Aladiss is also available, including new recipes and blueprints. Players who purchased the Season Pass can access both packs without additional costs; otherwise, each is paid DLC. A free update includes new recipes and costumes.
Developed by Gust and published by Koei Tecmo, Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land is available for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series, and Xbox One.
