I love horror. I love the genre a lot. I play a lot of horror games, too, and over the years I have noticed that there is a disparity between the topics and approaches that game developers take to horror, and what is possible in the world of literature and film.

So, in this video, I discuss what makes good horror and why game developers could be doing a lot more. They’ve absolutely mastered some areas in horror, but in other ways… yeah, we could see a bigger effort. Especially in the mainstream stuff.

Thanks as always for tuning in!
