Hakura Ran is a regular high school girl who wants to meet her destiny. Every morning, she shoves bread in her mouth and leaves in a rush. On the day of a long-awaited school trip, Hakura feels hopeful about meeting the man of her dreams on the outing. Just as she starts to feel hopeful, she realizes how very late she is and runs out of the house with a slice of bread in her mouth.

A short anime PC has been revealed, depicting the story from Hakura’s perspective:

The game’s features, via the publisher, include:

  • Exhilarating run action with simple controls! The controls are simple—just jump and dash—but timing is everything. The speed and tempo are addictive!
  • Animated storyline! This isn’t just an action game. The story progresses through animations that are put into the game, showing Ran’s daily life. What awaits Ran at the end of her run? Is it destiny, or something else? Only by playing will you uncover the truth.
  • A variety of items and obstacles! Aim for the goal while collecting items that give you a barrier to prevent damage and earn points! Avoid obstacles such as pits, balls, and dogs with great jumps and dashes.
  • Backgrounds and stage mechanics change from level to level! From a regular school route to a school trip to Kyoto to a date spot with a gorgeous night view! Each area is packed with stage mechanics and traps.

Lindsay picked up an NES controller for the first time at the age of 6 and instantly fell in love. She began reviewing GBA games 20 years ago and quickly branched out from her Nintendo comfort zone. She has has developed a great love of life sims and FMV titles. For her, accessibility is one of the most important parts of any game (but she also really appreciates good UI).
