The latest Ubisoft open-world history epic is Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. I know that this series has its detractors, but as the “western Dynasty Warriors” I can’t help but enjoy them.

In this video, I take a look at the latest one (it’s spoiler-free, I promise). Assassin’s Creed Valhalla surprised me in the nuanced way that it looked at the history of the Vikings, one of the most misunderstood and villainized cultures in history. But this game does a good job of highlighting the mand admirable and interesting qualities of the people.

Are you a fan of Assassin’s Creed or Viking history? Let me know your own thoughts in the comments!
