The Aussie developers at Hipster Whale have really struck on to a good thing with Crossy Road. Not only is it one of the most addictive and entertaining games on mobile devices, but it remains one of the best games on the Apple TV (complete with multiplayer), and now it’s being licensed out by the biggest entertainment company in the world.
Disney Crossy Road is coming in the next few weeks, and it replaces the now-famous blocky animals and characters with Mickey and the gang. The brief trailer below doesn’t give us much to go on in terms of what to expect from the full game – whether it will play any differently to vanilla Crossy Road, for example – but it’s exciting nonetheless:
Personally I am looking forward to Donald Duck taking the stage. Can you imagine how angry the little fellow is going to get when he gets walloped by a car?
Anything that gives me an excuse to jump back in for some more Crossy Road is worthwhile.
