As more and more information trickles out there on Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, it does look and feel like this time Square Enix may have gotten it right. They had better hope that they have in fact, since there is obviously quite a bit riding on this game financially.

I really have my fingers crossed for the PS3 version of this game. C'mon Square Enix, nail it this time.
Right there with you. I want this to succeed for several reasons – I love Final Fantasy, I generally like what Square Enix makes and if this falls as flat as the initial XIV, the damage to both brands could be huge.
If these screens are indeed from the PS3 version, I could be in for a visual treat when I finally get this.
