iOS and Android devices got a dose of drift today with the release of Drift Mania Championship 2.

The RatRod Studios release (and they get points right off the bat for that Ratfink logo BTW) was developed in conjunction with the DMCC Canadian drifting series, so it’s got some actual pedigree behind it for fans of the extreme racing style. It was also made with a heavy amount of fan input as the developer listened to what players had to say about the first release quite closely.

“With millions of players worldwide, we received tons of feedback and suggestions over the past two years. We listened to all our fans and took everything in consideration when designing this sequel. After a year of development, we are now back with the ultimate drift game available for any gaming platform.” says Ratrod Studio’s President Pat Toulouse.

DMC2, which is officially sponsored by NOS energy drink (extreme!!) takes speed, line, angle, and impact into account in its play mechanics to give players the most realistic experience possible.  It has a healthy amount of brand support too as cars in the game can be upgraded with parts by Royal Purple, K&N, Mishimoto and more.

Drift Mania Championship 2 is available for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch on the iTunes App Store for $1.99 right here or for your Android (vis Google Play) here.
