Madden 13 demo contest takes the field

2 mins read

Fans will probably be picking up the 2013 Madden NFL no matter what later this month. For those few still on the fence, your demo is here and it has a little incentive for you.

Available right this very second on the PSN and Xbox Live, the demo for Madden NFL 13 will allow players to get a sense of the new Infinity Engine, as well as the Ball Hawk and Total Control Passing features. The demo showcases a pair of match-ups to play with the Seahawks taking on the Redskins, or (in a replay of last year’s NFC Championship Game) the Giants vs the 49ers.

Now that you know what’s in the demo, here’s what’s in the contest.

EA will be giving away 13 copies of Madden NFL 13 every day for 13 days, starting now. (Seems like a lot of 13’s for a game that’s already well-known for jinx’s, no?) All you have to do is enter is complete a game in the demo and tweet your score in-game with the hashtag #Madden13Demo and -BOOM- you’re entered.

Not that a copy of the biggest sports game release of the year wouldn’t be enough, but EA will be setting some winners up with a locker full of other stuff too. One of the daily 13 will be taking home a VIP kit that contains not only the game, but a ‘special edition’ iPod Touch (64gig), a pair of EA Sports Headphones, and a Detroit Lions mini-helmet signed by the game’s cover star Calvin Johnson Jr. – that’s a pretty awesome way to kick off your season right there.

Look for the full Madden NFL 13 experience when the game rushes to a retail touchdown on August 28th.

  • Nice article. I'm a big madden fan and yup – I was planning to nab a copy in a couple of weeks, but I had not heard about this contest yet. Looks like I'm going to have to give it a go. 🙂
