Black Ops 2 multiplayer ready to blast Gamescom

Gamescom attendee’s will be among the first to play around with the multiplayer modes that’ll be setting the 360’s servers on fire for the next year.

The Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will be present and accounted for (and making its multiplayer debut) in Cologne, Germany for the European games show- Gamescom. The convention starts next Wednesday (August 15th) and will have playable demos of Black Ops 2 at the CoD booth in Hall 6 (booth numbers A21/B30 – A31/B30).

Not going to Gamescom? While that is quite sad, it doesn’t mean you won’t be able to join in on some of the fun! While you won’t be able to play, you will be able to watch as the game is streamed through a whole mess of digital outlets.

Fans around the globe can also share in the exclusive reveal. In collaboration with Xbox, Wednesdays World Premiere will be streamed live from Gamescom directly to Xbox LIVE® online entertainment network for all Xbox LIVE members throughout Europe and in the United States and Canada. Hosted by Xbox LIVE’s Major Nelson and AceyBongos, the world reveal featuring live gameplay from the show floor will bestreamed daily starting on Wednesday 15th Aug from 6 p.m. local time (9a.m.PST/5p.m.UK) with exclusive interviews with the developers of the gameIn addition to the stream on Xbox LIVE, the show will also be live streamed online on Xbox.com in Europe, CallofDuty.com, Facebook.com/codblackops as well as Twitch.tv/treyarch. The World Premiere content will be available in its entirety via Xbox LIVE video-on-demand shortly after the live broadcast in participating countries. Additional broadcast outlets will be revealed at a later date.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 drops onto the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC this November the 13th.
