Tony Hawk details start to kickflip out

Whether you love the Tony Hawk Series, or you’re a little tired of virtual skateboarding- you have to be at least slightly pumped for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD.

After all, the game mixes hand picked, fan favorite, levels from the first two THPS titles (arguably the best skating games of all time) and adds a fresh coat of High Definition paint. It’s also the first skateboarding title to come along in any form in quite some time as the genre kind of nosegrinded itself into the ground- so maybe you’re ready for more now?

A total of 7 levels have been confirmed thus far for the game. The Warehouse, Mall, Phoenix, School(2), Hanger, Marseilles, and Venice will all be present and skateable; how many more might appear hasn’t been announced as of yet. But definitely worth mentioning is that all of the stages in the finished title will be direct from the game’s fans. Players voiced their faves from past Hawk games on Twitter last year to none other than the bird-man himself.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD is due this Summer on the PSN and Xbox Live.

  • I loved the Tony Hawk games up to THUG 2 which I adored– even with the Jackass angle. I would hook this game up in my veins if I was into that.
