Juufuutei Raden’s Guide for Pixel Museum launches for PS4 this week

Originally released six months ago for PC and Nintendo Switch, pixel puzzle game Juufuutei Raden’s Guide for Pixel Museum will be launching for PlayStation 4 this week. Jupiter Corporation (the company behind the Picross series on Nintendo systems) also confirmed that the game will launch for Xbox at a later date.

In the game, players are supervised by Juufuutei Raden of the unit ReGLOSS—part of the VTuber group hololive DEV_IS under the umbrella of hololive production. These nonogram puzzles are themed after arts, crafts, and culture. There is also an explanation for each artwork. Nonograms are solved by using vertical and horizontal numbers as clues on a grid board. Juufuutei Raden’s Guide for Pixel Museum includes 150 standard puzzles and 10 special puzzles. Each standard puzzle is one image, while the special puzzles are comprised of multiple images each.

Developed and published by Jupiter Corporation, Juufuutei Raden’s Guide for Pixel Museum will be released for PlayStation 4 on December 10. It is currently available for PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch.

Etrange Overloard launches in the West this March

Who doesn’t love a worldwide launch day for Japanese games?! Musical action adventure game Etrange Overlord will be released for PC and consoles in the West on the same day and date as its Japanese release. It will be available in both physical and digital formats, in standard and limited editions. These Western versions have Japanese voiceovers with English and French subtitles for consoles, with Japanese as an added language for PC.

After being (falsely) accused of assassinating the kind, the sweets-loving daughter of a duke named Étrange von Rosenburg is executed — and finds herself in hell! So she does the only logical thing: tries to take the place over. Indulge Étrange’s insatiable need for sweets to get rewards of temporary buffs and bonuses. She rides, fights, and even sings her way across hell. A revolving lane mechanic sends items, buffs, and characters circling the map. As you progress, you can challenge stages with your friends in a separate 2-4 player multiplayer mode.

Developed by SuperNiche/BROCCOLI/Gemdrops and published in the West by NIS America, Etrange Overlord will be released for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2026.

Total War: Medieval III announced

Here is a description of the game, via Creative Assembly:

Total War: Medieval III ushers in the long-awaited return to the franchise’s historical roots. Now in early pre-production, this next chapter is both a tribute to its legendary predecessors and a bold revolution for the series. Built as the ultimate medieval strategy sandbox, it will empower players to shape realms, rewrite history, and immerse themselves in the Middle Ages like never before. Combining meticulous historical authenticity with unprecedented player agency, this is more than a sequel, it’s the rebirth of historical Total War.

Developed by Creative Assembly and published by Sega. Total War: Medieval III is in early development. No platforms or release window have been revealed.

Lindsay picked up an NES controller for the first time at the age of 6 and instantly fell in love. She began reviewing GBA games 20 years ago and quickly branched out from her Nintendo comfort zone. She has has developed a great love of life sims and FMV titles. For her, accessibility is one of the most important parts of any game (but she also really appreciates good UI).
