Learn about RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army’s battle system

Last week, Atlus revealed a new ‘The Principals of RAIDOU’ trailer for RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army. The second trailer in this format showcases the game’s unique battle system, where adjusting your skills and adapting to the situation is key. This version of the game includes revamped visuals, quality-of-life updates, new voiceovers, and an overhauled battle system. The action RPG is set to launch later this month.

The story begins when a young heiress asks the Narumi Detective Agency to kill her, and without another word, she is kidnapped. Raidou Kuzunoha XIV is an apprentice detective who moonlights as a Devil Summoner. He investigates across the city and in the dark realm, a juncture between the real world and the netherworld that comes complete with demons. As Raidou, work with your allied demons to unblock your path ahead in what was once a missing persons case but has spiralled into a conspiracy set to shake the entire nation

Developed and published by Atlus, RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army will be released for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch 2, Switch, Xbox Series, and Xbox One on June 19.

Juufuutei Raden’s Guide for Pixel Museum launches this week

Juufuutei Raden’s Guide for Pixel Museum is a picture/pixel puzzle game commonly known as nonograms or picross puzzles. It’s developed by the same company that makes the Picross series for Nintendo devices, so the developer is trusted in the genre. The puzzles are themed around arts, crafts, and culture; artworks are explained with voice commentary by Curator Juufuutei Raden of the unit ReGLOSS, part of the VTuber group hololive DEV_IS under the umbrella of hololive production.

In these puzzles, use horizontal and vertical numbers as clues. The game includes a tutorial, and several assist functions ensure smooth gameplay. (The assist function can also be turned off.) Puzzle sizes range from 5×5 to 40×30. There are 150 standard puzzles, each completing a single illustration, and 10 special puzzles where multiple puzzles build up to a large illustration. In addition to arts and crafts, many puzzles are related to Juufuutei Raden.

Developed by Jupiter Corporation, Juufuutei Raden’s Guide for Pixel Museum will be released for PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch on June 5. The Nintendo Switch version is fully titled Picross: Juufuutei Raden’s Guide for Pixel Museum.
