And just like that, it is Christmas Day! However you celebrate this season, the entire team at DDNet hopes you have the most wonderful time with family, friends, or your pets (I can tell you my bunneh rabbits are being spoiled rotten this year).

This is a special time for us all, and we will be taking a short break from regular duties on the site. We’ll be back to hit 2023 hard, but in the meantime, we hope you find the time to catch up on all the games you missed this year, the games that you grew up playing at Christmas, and whatever else catches your fancy. It is, after all, the time for fun!

Don’t forget that we’re giving everyone a big 50% discount on all of our Dee Dee Zines – you can buy one or all of them at half price from now until January 2. All you need to do is use the code “MERRYXMASALL” at the checkout. For all of you that haven’t checked out our magazine yet I really recommend it. It’s not just personal interest, either – we’ve really worked hard to get the best essays, features and articles into those this year and I really think they represent the best of DDNet’s writing and ethos, so I hope they’re of great interest to you.

More than anything, though, we really hope you have a really wonderful holidays, everyone. The site simply wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for you, so thank you for taking the time to read it.

– Matt and the whole DDNet team.

  • I know I’m late, but for Christmas I can recommend three fun little games on itch.io, all by Luistrations: Get in Santa’s Pants, Get in Santa’s Pants 2 and Fiss the Elf’s Puzzling Pin-ups. Those should be to your liking 😉
