Jingle bells!

Hello everyone, and Happy Holidays!

What a year it has been, too. An impossible number of great games were released. It has been totally impossible to keep up with the release schedule. We also made significant inroads in our own visual novel project, formally announcing it and getting it so close to being ready to release. It’s going to be a big final push in 2025 to get it out the door, but we think you’re going to love the results and agree it was worth the wait.

Most of all, though, thank you to everyone for tuning in and following us at DDNet this year. Thank you for contributing via your comments, or on our Discord. Thank you for reading our work! We hope it’s been useful to you and we look forward to another year with such an excellent readership next year.

However you celebrate Christmas and New Year’s, have a great time, stay safe, and enjoy it on your terms. This is the most lovely time of year and a good chance to rest, reset, and gear up for the year ahead.

Merry Christmas!

  • 🧑🏼‍🎄 Ho, ho, ho!!! Wishing all a wonderful rest of the year & a fantastic ’25!! While this year has been another excellent year for games, it’s been a tough year personally. Lost my best friend of 45 years in June. It’s making this Christmas just a little less bright & a bit more empty. One shining light has been Metaphor – in these dark times, it’s done something that the rare book/film/game can provide – it’s given me hope.

    Here’s to a brighter 2025! 🤞🏽

    • I am so sorry to hear you’ve had such a hard year with losing your friend. 🙁 I hope 2025 is a much more positive one for you – more uplifting and positive games like Metaphor without the tragedy.

  • Thank you to the staff of DDNET for providing your thorough and interesting opinions. They are always a pleasure to read in my spare time.

Here’s to another great year in 2025 and many more to come.

    Happy Holidays!
