Piofiore: Fated Memories is one of the most powerful, provocative, and interesting visual novels that you will ever play. It tells a story of a woman and three rival mafia factions, and it goes places. Now, thanks to Aksys, we have a release date for the sequel, Piofiore: Episodio 1926.
The game releases exclusively for Nintendo Switch on September 22. It is a direct sequel to the first Piofiore, so make sure that you’ve caught up before that date rolls around, and in the game, you will get five all-new episodes, filled with mystery and murder, a touch of the sexy and a blend of fictional story and real-history events.
As usual, if you get in early and pick up the physical edition, you’ll get a whole lot of bonus goodies. Aksys is a good publisher like that.
I really can’t wait for this. Piofiore was gripping, and just look at the art. This, along with Fata Morgana, is about as close as they come to the perfect visual novel, in my book.
