A tactics RPG based on Jim Henson’s wonderful Dark Crystal property? What could possibly go wrong with THAT! Sadly, a lot. This is one of those games that reminds you that licensed tie-ins used to be so, so bad.

In this video I discuss the issues that I have with the game, but most significantly it boils down to this – it just lacks the heart and soul of a quality tie-in, and where we’ve seen other licensed titles in recent years really take the property and run with it, this one is far too committed to being a cash-in, bringing nothing to the property.

Ah well. There’s always next time!
