Take your places, everyone! With Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call coming out on September 16, Square Enix wants you to have the opportunity to rehearse for the big show with the demo that’s now available on the Nintendo eShop for the 3DS.

The demo features two songs that I consider especially superb (truth be told, I’m a sucker for just about any and all of Final Fantasy’s compositions, and Matt’s excellent list mirrors my tastes, for the most part): -J-E-N-O-V-A (Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children) and Edgar and Sabin’s Theme (Final Fantasy VI), which can be replayed up to 30 times, and will offer unlocked characters for the main event/ game.

Don’t euphorically stumble off into the dressing room just yet, though; a new, brief musical vignette featuring scenarios from the Final Fantasy XIII series – FF XIII, FF XIII-2, and Lightning Returns: FF XIII – has also been released as per the anticipation of Curtain Call:

Are you ready to answer the Curtain Call come September 16? With enough rehearsal time, you should be, my friend.
