With a team of 50 people, Gamagio has its sights set high on becoming a premiere mobile phone and social gaming developer.
The company has been formed by Ian Bell and Andy Garton, previously from Slightly Mad Studios.

In a release, Bell said “gamagio is creating new gaming experiences, new ways to play and interact, and we see social and mobile gaming as key to that.”

His business partner is equally enthusiastic – Garton said in the same release “our social gaming engine has been built from the ground up to support the leading edge HTML5 technology, which is central to the ever changing social and mobile gaming landscape, as well as plugin-free 3D graphics standards such as WebGL.”

Looks like a company to watch in the future.
