Pinball Lockdown: What makes a great pinball table?

Pinball Lockdown isn’t a great game (actually, it’s a terrible pinball experience, even on a budget), but it did get me thinking as I was playing, and asking myself just what do I like about pinball.

Obviously the experience of flicking the ball around the playfield is important, but what does that mean, exactly? And how does the “X-factor” work with pinball – what separates two good tables from one another?

So in this video companion piece to my review, I discuss just what it is that I look for in a pinball game. Be sure to leave me your own thoughts in the comments!
