You know you’re getting closer to the release of a game when the developer diaries start popping up. They’re basically extended trailers, though with little tidbits of “behind the scenes” showing players how the game was developed, and mini-“interviews” with the creators.

Wasteland 3 is a game worth getting excited about. The spiritual successor to the older Fallouts, these games are challenging and grim looks at apocalyptic worlds, wrapped up with all the classical RPG tropes to trigger warm nostalgia for oldies such as myself.

This developer diary, in that context, is pretty good! The game is set for release on August 28 across PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (via both Steam and GOG).
