Not a bad thing at all. This was one of my favorite NES games growing up. I seriously have no idea how many times I beat it.
I have no idea why, but I don't have great memories of DD2. I think I barely played it- and I loved the original!
By the 'original' do you mean the Arcade game, or the NES console one? They were pretty different titles, though I enjoyed both quite a bit.
