Double Dragon II on the way to 3DS

The sequel to the NES and arcade classic Double Dragon will be brawling its way on over to the 3DS’ Virtual Console sometime soon.

Just when that might be is sort of up in the air, as no details other than a trio of screenshots were released by Nintendo today. If I had to guess, I’d say it’s going to be a straight up port though- which isn’t really a bad thing is it?

  • I have no idea why, but I don't have great memories of DD2. I think I barely played it- and I loved the original!

  • By the 'original' do you mean the Arcade game, or the NES console one? They were pretty different titles, though I enjoyed both quite a bit.

    I was all over that thing- my Grandmother gave it to me for my birthday and I actually left the party and sealed myself up in the den and played. I didn't even open the rest of the gifts and, although I think I went back down for goodbyes, I'm honestly not sure…
