Digitally Downloaded covers the news of Black Myth Wukong getting a release window and an amazing new trailer to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit

Black Myth: Wukong is one of the more exciting upcoming releases out of China. As the name suggests it is inspired by the all-time classic novel, Journey to the West, but it’s a rare case of actual Chinese developers adapting one of the novels the nation is most proud of, so it’s going to be interesting to see how it turns out.

There’s still a while to wait, unfortunately. The release window, which has now been announced, places it for “Summer” 2024 (Winter for those of us in the southern hemisphere). To date, the only platform that has been announced it PC, though that might change in the months ahead.

The real reason for this news story, however, is to share the trailer that made the announcement. For those that aren’t aware, this year will be Year of the Rabbit, according to the Lunar calendar. So the developers have created a short film to celebrate, featuring a bunneh!

Told you it’s a good little video! Stay tuned for more news on this game, because we’re going to be following it closely.
