Not every game needs to fit the conventional expectations of what a video game is for it to be worthwhile, and that’s really what we celebrate with this award: games that might otherwise be dismissed on account of not being “game enough”.
As a result, this is one of the most interesting awards of all, as it celebrates the most different and interesting of all.
