24 Games Of Christmas! Day #15: Dead or Alive Xtreme 3

2 mins read

As has become an annual tradition at DDNet, we are here to help you count down towards Christmas! One new game every day for the 24 days from December 1 to Christmas Eve. Think of it as a kind of Advent Calendar, if you will, giving you new tips and ideas for games to pick up and play at that rare time of year where everyone does have a little more time to indulge their favourite hobbies.

Also, it’s an excuse to post pictures of cute anime girls in Christmas gear every day. I won’t deny that we love doing that too.

Day #15: Dead or Alive Xtreme 3
Did Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 come out this year? No, of course not. But why would I let a silly little rule like that prevent me from recommending the best game of all time? Rules were meant to be broken. Especially when I wrote those rules. What am I going to do – fire myself? So anyway, play Dead or Alive Xtreme 3. Marie Rose is sexy.

And in all seriousness, this is a really, really good game, if you can embrace the fan service and go in without expectations of having too much game to play. Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 aims to be the ultimate chill-out game. There’s a couple of minigames, which are there to buy bikinis for your favourite girl, and then you watch her relaxing at the beach (and perhaps grab a photo or two). If you’ve ever been to a tropical island resort, the lazy, “do nothing” vibe is almost exactly what you’ll experience (the voyeurism thing isn’t a thing you should probably do in the real world though), and all of that is kinda perfect for Christmas, where you should take every opportunity to chill that you can find.
Also Marie Rose is sexy.
