Blue Reflection: Second Light – it’s a masterpiece of beauty and art direction

Blue Reflection: Second Light is my favourite game of 2021. It’s not necessarily the deepest and most profound (though it does have plenty to say!), it’s just that it’s so beautiful, heartfelt, and wholesome. I loved every second with this game and given that it was a sequel that I never thought would happen, I am over the moon.

In this video, to accompany my massive written review, I’ve looked at the art direction in particular, and why Blue Reflection, despite being made for about 1/1000th of the budget of a blockbuster, deserves to be seen as a gorgeous game in its own right.

Let me know your own thoughts on Blue Reflection once you’re playing it!
