Whoo! Time sure flies when you’re having fun. It feels like just yesterday that the July edition of the Dee Dee Zine went live for Patreon backers, and here we are, already at August!

So, this month’s magazine will be available on August 21, and as per usual it will be a deluxe, 48-page digital magazine celebrating Japanese art and culture on all levels. This month we have features including (but by no means limited to):

– Sion Sono – Japan’s great modern film director
– Clock Tower 3 – The greatest stalker horror time (and Capcom) has forgotten
– William Adams – From the legend of the “white samurai” to Nioh
– Meiko Kawakami – Literature with a philosophical bite
– And so much more! Beer reviews, photo of the month, the upcoming games to look forward to… and that’s just a start.

And here’s this month’s front and back covers!

As always, the magazine is an exclusive benefit for people that back DDNet on Patreon. You can do that for just $1/month, making this one of the cheapest magazine subscriptions you’ll ever find.

This is the bio under which all legacy DigitallyDownloaded.net articles are published (as in the 12,000-odd, before we moved to the new Website and platform). This is not a member of the DDNet Team. Please see the article's text for byline attribution.
