The second Monster Hunter title to land on the Nintendo Switch in a matter of months, Monster Hunter Stories 2 is a very different experience. This game is a pure, true JRPG, with turn-based combat and the full narrative experience.

And I absolutely love it. As someone who finds standard Monster Hunter difficult, Monster Hunter Stories 2 has given me the Monster Hunter experience I love but in a format that I’m more comfortable with.

I discuss the game’s amazing qualities in this video. Be sure to check out DDNet for my full and in-depth written review, too!
