News by Matt S.

Indie publisher, Ratalaika Games, certainly likes to push games out, and frequently. This time around, the publisher has announced seven – yes, seven – visual novels, currently locked on PC, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch ports.

Sadly, for some reason Ratalaika Games hasn’t been in touch with us to bring Dee Dee’s visual novels to console. I don’t know why… I mean, who wouldn’t want to play with Dee Dee on the Switch? That aside, the stuff that is being ported seems to be pretty good stuff:

Angels with Scaly Wings

A Summer with the Shiba Inu

Blind Men

Jisei: The First Case HD

Long Live the Queen

Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet

Tales of Aravorn: Seasons of the Wolf

As you can see, it seems like a pretty good line-up of a wide range of different aesthetic tones and designs. With all of these games due out in 2020, it seems the flood of VNs coming to console isn’t easing any time soon.
