SEGA recently announced Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz HD for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. It’s an enhanced port of the Wii original (showing how long it has been since we last had a Monkey Ball to play), and while that game was divisive among Monkey Ball fans, this really is looking like a whole lot of fun.
Sadly, the trailer shows off the main game, rather than the minigames, which have always been the really real reason to buy into Monkey Ball. Still, the bright, colourful enviroments look great in HD.
Hopefully this is a success for SEGA, and we might just get another new Monkey Ball down the track if it is.
