Konami has released an extended play trailer for its upcoming Pro Yakyuu Spirits 2019 – the official tie-in for the Japanese baseball league. Forget MLB: The Show, this is the baseball I want to get stuck into.
GO THE MIGHTY TOKYO GIANTS.
This video features two players from the other Tokyo team – the Swallows – playing against one another. Given that they’re all talking in Japanese, it won’t make much sense unless you know the language, but when you look at the baseball action itself, it looks like a really clean, good looking take on the sport.
And quite easy to understand without knowing Japanese. This one could be an import-friendly title for fans of Japanese sport (since we never get to see that stuff outside of Japan).
This won’t be localised, but it comes out on July 18 in Japan.
