Want to write about games? DDNet wants to hear from you!

1 min read

Over the last seven or so years, DDNet has grown to become one of the leading websites covering indie games, and everything from Asia. If that’s something you love too, we’d love to hear from you!

We need passionate folk that love their games, and would love to write reviews, news pieces, and anything else that catches their fancy. And if you also enjoy writing about films, anime, and whatever else, we’ve got plenty of space on the site for you as well!

DDNet is a volunteer-run site – this goes for everyone, including me (the publisher and editor-in-chief). Sadly in the world of games independent coverage doesn’t pay, and the revenue the site has coming in doesn’t equal what it costs to run. But if course all games are provided to you, we get you into conventions and expos on media passes, and you’re more than welcome to link to your Patreon/whatever else in your byline at the bottom of each of your articles. Most of the people who have written for DDNet have also gone on to find paid work in games, and the media beyond.

If you’re keen, shoot an email to matts@digitallydownloaded.net to say hi, and attach a sample of your writing! We look forward to hearing from you!

This is the bio under which all legacy DigitallyDownloaded.net articles are published (as in the 12,000-odd, before we moved to the new Website and platform). This is not a member of the DDNet Team. Please see the article's text for byline attribution.
