It’s that time of year again! The decorations are out, the house smells of Christmas thanks to the tree in the living room, presents are sitting under the tree and all the good food is on the table. We do love Christmas at DDNet, and as always, we’re doing an advent calendar of our own on the site. Game #11: Xmas Shooting – Scramble!!
Xmas Shooting – Scramble!! is that special type of game that makes picking candidates for this list a cakewalk waiting for the Christmas season oh so rewarding. Though you could bust out themed games like Sega’s famed Christmas NiGHTS at any time of the year, there’s something magical about traversing a virtual winter wonderland and then gazing out your window as the real thing suddenly unfolds. Most importantly, Xmas Shooting is actually a thoroughly competent shooter underneath that seasonal dressing as Matt C. will attest in his review.
If you want to go a step further with the Christmas theme, why not toss the game to one of your Steam buddies as an early gift? Though the years may go by, bullet hell is a gift that keeps on giving.
