One of the best things about a new console generation is that publishers tend to create new IP and be a little more experimental at this time. The Order: 1886, an upcoming PlayStation 4 title to be published by Sony, is an example of that trend at work. And it’s looking awesome.
The game is set in a Victorian-era London. A very dark one, to look at the trailer. Players assume the role of a knight, with access to some rather interesting weaponry given the setting… and that’s about all we know right now. Ancient enemy, yadda yadda.
The trailer itself isn’t much more of a tease, and we’re still waiting on substantial gameplay footage to really get a feel for what the game offers, but as far as I’m concerned this is my most anticipated PS4 game that isn’t being developed in Japan.
