Monster Hunter has a huge following in Japan, and Monster Hunter 4 for the Nintendo 3DS is shaping up to look really good.

Currently the only release date announced is for September 14th of this fall in Japan, but if ever there was a Capcom title that was a candidate for larger localization, you would have to think it is this one.

The potential for this game is truly frightening. A remake of Monster Hunter Tri was enough to turn the 3DS from a console barely treading water to Nintendo’s new favourite son. We can only imagine what an entirely new Monster Hunter game is going to be capable of.
