Hardboiled Chicken roosting on the PC soon

Chickens (and other birds) with assorted high-calibur weaponry are about to invade the PC- and they brought bonuses!

Ratloop Asia and Reverb are bringing Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken to PC players this October the 15th across several of the top download services. The game is a side-scrolling action affair that looks like it has a style all its own.

“October has always been a great month for gaming, and what better way to start it off than with a hilariously unique side-scrolling action shooter featuring fantastic and addictive gameplay,” said Ted Lange, executive producer with Reverb Publishing. “There’s something deeply satisfying about unloading clip after clip into a hapless horde of evil birds, and it’s only made better with a friend on co-op.”

Normally, I’d say preordering a digital title is kind of a waste of time, but in this case it might just be worthwhile- especially if playing as an angry budgie sounds like your idea of a good time. Order the game now through GamersGate, Rain Digital, or GameStop and you’ll get the (very angry) Agent H as well as a four song soundtrack and access to the photon blaster weapon.

It’s a good time to be a bad bird.
