The Nintendo Download- it’s system update time

Yes the promised system update that will add ‘folders’ to Nintendo’s 3D portable has hit, and it’s brought an interesting little item with it- a Virtual Console title.

Oddly enough, it’s Super Street Fighter II. I seriously thought SSF2 was already on the Wii’s VC, but I guess not as it’s actually one of this week’s better offerings.

If you’re weary of the World Warriors (or don’t have a Wii) you might consider mousey puzzle game Block Factory- or maybe a virtual visit to Chuck E Cheese’s Arcade Room? That’s always a blast… of cheese.

  • System Update – If you’re saying to yourself something along the lines of ‘wow, that’s a weird name for a game’, click here.
  • Block Factory – $3.99 — Create and share puzzles with this predefined falling-block puzzle game. Your goal is to avoid filling the playing field to the top. When a block hits the top, the game is over.

  • I Fight Dragons – Chiptune rock band I Fight Dragons takes you on a space adventure in the premiere of the music video “Save World Get Girl” on Nintendo Video™.

Many games and prizes await you in Chuck E. Cheese’s® Arcade Room! Polish off your toy hammer and Smash-a-Munch! Make consecutive shots to go on fire in Basketball Frenzy!
