New Dead Island DLC incoming

And it’s single player! Deep Silver and Techland announced today that their ‘zombie armageddon on an island’ simulator, Dead Island, is getting a brand new solo campaign.

One of my very favorite things is new single player downloads. Nothing against multiplayer fans, but it’s not all that often that big time retail (or digital for that matter) releases get new SP content.

This particular offering features the main game’s villain- Ryder White as the playable character. The new mission pack allows players to see the events that unfold at the vacation spot and play through the zombie outbreak from his vantage. Included along with the added adventuring are some new weapon blueprints too, so you can build a brand new arsenal of zombie hacking ‘tools’.

The expansion will be available on February 1st on Xbox Live(800mspts), the PSN(US$9.99), and Steam(US$9.99)

This is the bio under which all legacy DigitallyDownloaded.net articles are published (as in the 12,000-odd, before we moved to the new Website and platform). This is not a member of the DDNet Team. Please see the article's text for byline attribution.
