Commander Video is making a comeback in the sequel to Bit.Trip Runner, Bit.Trip presents: Runner 2, Future Legend of Rhythm Alien. Along with the awesome new title Commander Video will also get a new art style — moving the series away from the 8 bit sensibilities to a more cartoon-y style. He’s also getting some new moves and abilities to go along with the re-imagining.

Gaijin Games are doing it a little bit differently this time but so far it’s looking good. The game is not far along in development, but can be expected to become available for download on XBLA and PSN sometime in 2012.
