NISA has released a couple of game collections on the PlayStation 3 recently. There’s the Atelier trilogy, a Hyperdimension Neptunia trilogy, and in July, you’ll be able to pick up the Disgaea Triple Play Collection.

This boxed set comes with a single disc containing three games; Disgaea 3: Absense of Justice, Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten, and Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness, and will set you back £39.99/39.99 EUR.

For people that haven’t played these games before, that’s awesome value. Each Disgaea game easily has a hundred hours (or more) of content on it, once you start delving into the random dungeons and leveling the characters as far as they can go, so this box set alone will last you an entire year or longer if you allow it.

Backed up with consistently entertaining narratives and a wicked sense of humour, if you’re keen on learning what the fuss about Disgaea is about before Disgaea 5 lands on the PlayStation 4, then here’s the place to start.
