nisa-is-on-roll-now-were-getting

Just yesterday we reported that NISA is localising Mugen Souls Z for the western market in 2014. It has backed that news up today with even more exciting news; Hyperdimension Neptunia PP on the PlayStation Vita is getting a western localisation.

This game from our buddies at Compile Heart and Idea Factory takes the popular characters and setting of JRPG series, Hyperdimension Neptunia, and turns it into an Idol game. In other words, players will take on the role of a producer for a group of Hyperdimension characters. The game involves teaching them to sing, dance, and promote themselves.

I can only imagine how much fun this would be – combining the humour of Hyperdimension with the silliness of idol games. Good on NISA for leading the way with bringing some of the really niche Japanese games that are starting to appear on the Vita to the western markets.
