The Witch’s Bakery launches this August

2D adventure RPG The Witch’s Bakery is about a witch who opens a bakery in modern-day Paris. Her special power? Seeing into people’s hearts and healing emotions through magic. Sunny Lab and Silver Lining Interactive have revealed an August launch date for the title, which will be coming to PC and consoles. Some versions will have physical editions.

Each day, Lunne’s schedule is in three parts: daytime, evening, and night. During the day, she manages her bakery and serves clients. During the evening, she explores Paris, builds relationships, discovers the city’s secrets, and goes inside her friends’ troubled hearts. During the night, she rests, improves her magic, decorates the bakery, and spends time in her atelier. The story progresses as the days pass, while Lunne gets experience, money, fame, and new friends.

Developed by Sunny Lab Games and published by Silver Lining Interactive, The Witch’s Bakery will be released for PC, PlayStation 5, Switch 2, Switch, and Xbox Series on August 20. Physical editions will be available for PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and Switch.

“Dark and cute” RPG Annihilated launches this July

Annihilated combines deckbuilder roguelike gameplay with a visual novel narrative. After a Hero’s party vanishes in a dungeon, you are sent with a rescue party to save them… but you are the sole survivor. Explore deeper into the cursed dungeon to find what is left of the four broken heroes, and decide which one to bring out alive. Annihilated presents four distinct character routes. Announced last week, the game is set to launch for PC next month.

Here are the game’s key features, via Flashlight Games:

  • Choose among 4 different main routes, each one full of decisions that will impact your path and how things end.
  • Visual novel narrative-driven style with a deep 200.000 words script full of lovable and broken characters.
  • Roguelite dungeon crawling with high lethality, unforgiving random events, and instant retries.
  • Turn-based timing-focused card battles where players will need to be strategic but also have good reflexes to defeat enemies.
  • Weapon Breakage System: Weapons have a durability limit, but can be voluntarily destroyed for temporary combat buffs.
  • Curse points are earned from defeats and weapon breaks, and used to buy items, boost stats, or survive lethal roulettes.

Developed by Death Kumiai and published by Flashlight Games, Annihilated will be released for PC via Steam on July 22.

Enshrouded launches for PC and PlayStation this October

Until now, all we knew about Enshrouded’s release date was that it would be in the fall. Last week, Keen Games announced that its open-world action RPG would launch for PC and PlayStation in mid-October; the Xbox version has been delayed to 2027. Since Enshrouded entered Early Access in January 2024, it has had eight major content updates, adding three new biomes and their monsters to the game alongside new weapons, armour, creatures, materials, decorations, and more. The team also did something difficult for a voxel game: it added dynamic water.

In Enshrouded, the realm of Embervale has fallen; its peoples’ pursuit of forbidden power has caused the ancestors to unleash a world-consuming pestilence. The game features diverse biomes, including the sun-scorched Kindlewastes and the shadowed depths of The Revelwood, where players can uncover the remnants of lost cultures and forgotten myths. Within the Shroud is a story of magic, ruin, and redemption. By awakening the ancient Flame, reclaim the hope that once illuminated the realm.

Developed and published by Keen Games, Enshrouded will be released for PC via Steam and PlayStation 5 on October 15. An Xbox Series version is planned for spring 2027.
