Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP gets the Switch 2 treatment
Following Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP’s September 2024 launch for PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series (and December’s PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions), Dragami Games has announced a Switch 2 edition of the game. It will feature significant improvements in resolution, frame rate, and graphics quality when compared to the Switch version. Players can also upgrade from the Switch version, though no cost has been announced.
Hack’n’slash game Lollopop Chainsaw RePOP is a contemporary remake of Lollipop Chainsaw with more user-friendly features and more fun! This definitive version of the game keeps the same story while focusing on quality-of-life improvements and additional gameplay content. In the game, Juliet is an exemplary student and passionate cheerleader at San Romero High School. And, while she doesn’t know it yet, she’s descended from a long line of zombie hunters. On her birthday, she cycles towards her school to meet her beau (who becomes nothing but a talking head), but instead finds all of her former schoolmates… undead.
Developed and published by Dragami Games, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP will be released for Nintendo Switch this November.
Dispatch launches weekly beginning in October
The highly anticipated superhero workforce comedy game, Dispatch, will be released starting this October. It will be released in episodes, with two episodes available on its launch date and two more being released each of the following three weeks. This might seem like an unusual approach, but the developer believes that the release format is an underrated part of the player experience.
“Episodic is a format that makes the story easy to slip into, easy to keep up with, and easy to share with friends,” said Nick Herman, co-founder of AdHoc Studio and Dispatch Creative Director, in a press release.”We want the launch of Dispatch to be ‘appointment gaming’ but with the weekly cadence of a TV show, as opposed to asking people to wait months between each release.”
Here is a description of the game, via its developer:
Dispatch is a narrative adventure that follows the story of Robert Robertson, a former superhero forced to manage a squad of chaotic ex-villains while trying to exact revenge on his nemesis. The characters are brought to life by a stellar cast led by Aaron Paul, Jeffrey Wright, and members of Critical Role as part of a newly announced strategic collaboration with AdHoc Studio.
Developed and published by AdHoc Studio, Dispatch’s episodes will be released weekly for PC via Steam and PlayStation 5 starting on October 22.

Finding Paradise is about to find itself on consoles
The To the Moon sequel, Finding Paradise, was released for PC eight years ago, in late 2017. It also launched for iOS/Android and Nintendo Switch in 2022, but players from the other two major consoles have been left out until now, as Finding Paradise will be released for PlayStation and Xbox early next month. There are some features new to these latest versions of the game, and the PC version will receive an update that includes them. The features include true 16:9 presentation, 4K resolution support, up to 120Hz frame rates, new achievements, PS5 DualSense haptics support, higher-quality background music audio, and the ability to change the game’s language at any time.
Here is a description of the game, via its developer:
Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts have peculiar jobs: They give people another chance to live, all the way from the very beginning… but only in their patients’ heads.
Due to the severity of the operation, the new life becomes the last thing the patients remember before drawing their last breath. Thus, the operation is only done to people on their deathbeds, to fulfill what they wish they had done with their lives, but didn’t.
Finding Paradise is the second full episode of To the Moon‘s series. It follows the life of the doctors’ new patient, Colin, as they attempt to unravel a life that is split down the middle, and fulfill a wish that appears to be self-contradictory by nature.
Developed by Freebird Games and published by Serenity Forge, Finding Paradise will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Xbox One on October 8. The PC updates will launch simultaneously.
