Does a five-year-old game really need updating? Dragami Games sure seems to think so: it has announced LoveR Kiss: Endless Memories, a “significantly enhanced” version of the 2020 game LoveR Kiss. This version will launch in Japan for PC and Nintendo Switch this November; while there is no Western release, the Japanese version will support the English language.

This game is actually a new version of an updated version of the original game, LoveR. It was released in 2019 and included a new teacher scenario and new Photo Session elements.

LoveR Kiss: Endless Memories includes a shiny new interface and improved physics. But that’s just scratching the surface of what else has been added. There are new photo shooting spots and costumes, plus a new PRO Photo Session mode that grants instant access to subjects, shooting spots, outfits, poses, and lens filters. Almost all previously released DLC is included.

The capital R stands for two things: Romance and Record. Romance is self-explanatory, and Record involves taking pictures and recording videos. The game is set during the summer of your second year of high school, you happen to meet six girls… and your love story begins. You have two months until the school festival, where you will confess your feelings to the girl who makes your heart sing.

LoveR Kiss: Endless Memories will be released in Japan on November 27 for PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch.

Lindsay picked up an NES controller for the first time at the age of 6 and instantly fell in love. She began reviewing GBA games 20 years ago and quickly branched out from her Nintendo comfort zone. She has has developed a great love of life sims and FMV titles. For her, accessibility is one of the most important parts of any game (but she also really appreciates good UI).
